Hazelnut Rose Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375F/190C. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, rose water, sugar and vanilla. Add in eggs and mix until well integrated.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flours, gum, baking soda, and salt.
  3. While stirring the wet ingredients, pour in dry ingredients. Add in hazelnuts and mix until everything is integrated.
  4. On an ungreased baking sheet, dollop batter and flatten. Bake for ~10 minutes, or until cookies become firm but not browned.
  5. Allow cookies to cool and firm before removing from sheet.
